TEMECULA, Calif., Jan 17, 2006
REVShare, television's largest performance-based advertising network of over 800 stations, recharged its Latino marketing focus today said Joseph Gray, Chief Executive Officer of REVShare. "According to TNS Media Intelligence, Spanish language media increased 3.3% in the first nine months of 2005 to more than $3 billion," said Gray. "Although we entered the Latino market at the end of 2004, and became more aggressive in April 2005, the rise in revenue and lead generation has definitely caught our attention. That's why we've decided the space is proving that we can bring our experience, technology and marketing know-how to help grow that market even more."

To lead this effort, Gray announced the appointment of Luis Estrada as Vice President of Latino Business Development. Estrada will focus on the company's efforts to increase its Latino advertising sales as well as work closely with Adam Warren, Vice President of Network Development, in expanding REVShare's Latino station network. Prior to joining REVShare, Estrada was Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions for SorpresaTV. His extensive media experience includes independent production as well as branding and marketing positions:

  • At Turner Broadcasting he helped launch and Brand TNT and Cartoon Network for Latin America and the Caribbean;
  • As Senior VP for Friedland Jacobs Latin America, a full service entertainment marketing firm, he was responsible for the branding of DirecTV in Latin America and assisted in the launch of CNN En Espanol;
  • As Vice President of Programming, Creative Services in Fort Worth, Texas, for Hispanic Television Network (HTVN) where he was also responsible for Advertising/Direct Response/Per Inquiry Sales. After Firestone Communications bought HTVN, he was a leader in relaunching the network as SorpresaTV, the first Spanish language kids' network in the US.
  • He was nominated for two Emmy awards in 2004. He also produced and directed an independent feature film due for release in 2006.

REVShare's goals in the Latino marketplace are three-fold:

  • To bring its successful model of Cost Per Acquisition to Spanish language clients by providing more advertising opportunities to an underserved and overlooked space;
  • To bring Direct Response clients into the Latino market and Latino clients into the Direct Response market;
  • To extend REVShare's continuing focus on shaping the future of television advertising through a balance of proven innovation, expertise, technology and marketing know-how.
